New Packaging
We have also changed our packaging of our rug/wrap/throw, blanket, pram papoose and pram liner. I am so thrilled with the new packaging - it is now in a box and shows the colour through the clear plastic on top. It does look so much nicer to give as a gift!
(minimink) and the Environment
One of the things that has concerned me for a good while is how much plastic is used when shipping goods. Most products, the world over, are packaged individually to keep dust and other elements off the goods. This plastic serves no other purpose and is usually discarded (ie into landfill) when the goods arrive at their destination.
We are very pleased to now be rid of all our plastic shipping bags and to be using a biodegradable, drawstring, reusable little bag to ship each product in. They also make great little bags for your handbag or, the larger ones, for a shoe bag when travelling.
